Kiyo meets Baby Kouma for the first time

Ryuichi Kiyonari could not be with his wife at the birth of his newly born child, Kouma.  The baby was born May 18 in Japan, and Kiyo was still in the U.K., getting ready for Round 4 of the British Superbike Championship at Cadwell Park.  Kiyo eventually wins Race 1 at Cadwell Park, which was his first win in two years.  Obviously, Kiyo already thinks of his baby as a “lucky” boy.

He wanted to go back to Japan immediately after the race, but an event forced him to stay a couple of days more in the U.K.  Kiyo, now back in Japan, met Kouma, and could not hide his joy.

“I was feeling a little depressed because of Race 2 at Cadwell Park, but the moment I met my son, it all went away.  I was really excited to meet him and my wife, Madoka.”, Kiyo said in joy.  “Although this would be a short stay in Japan, I plan to spend all of my time with them.”
