Hiroyuki Kikuchi finishes 7th at Autopolis
The 7th round of the All Japan Road Racing Championship was held at the Asian Motorcycle Festa 2013 at Autopolis. It was co-hosted along with the 5th round of the Asia Road Racing Championship.
Kikuchi, who was suffering from problems on the machine this season, found a light in solving it. He confirmed that at the A.R.T. practices on Friday, and concentrated on the race set-up that would improve is race average, even during qualifying on Saturday.
Kikuchi starting from the 8th grid on Sunday, made an average start, but immediately started to move up the position. Kikuchi engaged in the battle of sixth, but this battle allowed the leaders to run away from the 2nd group. Positions among the second group would rapidly change every lap. Kikuchi finished 7th in the race.
