A Video Message from Makoto Tamada to the fans

Makoto Tamada, who had multiple fractures and an amputated middle finger on his left hand, from a crash at Suzuka 8 Hours, went through successful surgery.  He is now in an intensive rehabilitation program in aim for returning to Suzuka for the Round 4 of the Asia Road Racing Championship later this month.

“Hi, this is Makoto Tamada. I had a terrible crash at Suzuka, and had multiple fractures, but surgery went successfully, and I am now concentrating on the rehab program. It’s a painful process, but as you can tell from my shaved head, I am very motivated. I am aiming for the return for the race at Suzuka this month, and I will do my best to be back in shape, so that I can all show you my riding at the race.”
