Naomichi Uramoto to race at the inaugural 8 Hours of Sepang
Naomichi Uramoto have agreed with SUZUKI JEG-KAGAYAMA to race at the inaugural 8 Hours of Sepang scheduled on December 13-15 at Sepang International Circuit in Malaysia. The Sepang 8Hours is the 2nd round of the 2019-2020 FIM Endurance World Championship, and is its first race in Southeast Asia.
Uramoto has already raced in the first round of EWC at Bol d’or 24Hours with the same team, the team he raced with full season also in the ESBK Spanish Superbike Championship. The team finished 23rd at Bol d’or, which was their first ever outing in EWC. Uramoto teammate will be Gregory Leblanc, who holds the record of most wins in a 24 hour race, and who have also raced with Uramoto at Bol d’or. The third rider is yet to be announced.
Machine is SUZUKI GSX-R1000. Tires are Michelin.
