Uramoto, also will continue his contract with SUZUKI as a development rider for SUZUKI’s MotoGP machine.
“I will be continuing to race in the All Japan Championship this year as a rider. I need to thank Dunlop and Suzuki, as well as all of my sponsors that made this possible. Being 44 years old this year, I will try my best new records as long as I can. I am also happy to announce that we are able to continue our partnership with JEG Racing, and that Uramoto will be racing in Spain for the full season this year. I believe that this will be a big step for him in his career, and that this experience will help him grow into a world class rider.”

“I am very excited and happy that I will be racing full time in Spain. I would like to that Kagayama-san, and JEG Racing for giving me this opportunity. I aim to be a better rider through this experience, a rider that would be competitive in the world. It will be a learning experience, but I do not plan to compromise due to that, and plan to achieve results from my first race.”
