Buildbase BMW has issued an official press release, 14th October, 2015 stating that Ryuichi Kiyonari (#23) will not be racing at the final round of the 2015 British Superbike Championship, scheduled for this weekend at Brands Hatch.

Kiyonari’s management, Speed of Japan, would like to state that injury is not the reason for him to be pulled out, but it is the decision made by Buildbase BMW. No official reason has been announced by the team.

The following is a statement made by Kiyonari, regarding this team decision:

“I am all ready and prepared to race at Brands Hatch this weekend. I have discussed with the team that I want to race. I regret to say that the team has made the decision to pull me out, so there’s nothing I can do about that.  I will still be at the circuit during race week. I apologize to all my fans and supporters that I won’t be able to race at Brands Hatch. “
