A solid day for Satu HATI. Honda Team Asia

The 38th “Coca-cola Zero” Suzuka 8Hours Endurance Race started today with two practice sessions.

#22 Satu HATI. Honda Team Asia, with former MotoGP winner, Makoto Tamada as team manager, started out their 4th consecutive Suzuka 8Hours with solid run by all three riders. The team concentrated on setting up the bike for race day.

Malaysian, Azlan Shah Kamaruzaman of Malaysia, marked the team best lap of the day, with a time of 2’10.585, which placed the team 7th fastest in Group A, and 12th overall out of 84 teams that participated on this day.  Dimas Ekky Pratama of Indonesia and Ratthapong Wilairot of Thailand continued to tune the set-up, as the team made Day 1 at Suzuka a solid one.

Qualifying is scheduled for Day 2 (July 24th).
