The first day of the Le Mans series held at Paul Ricard circuit in France became a day filled with trouble for Hideki Noda and his team.

This being his third season with Kruse Schiller Motorsport(KSM), the first day were spent trying to fix problems with the Lola/Judd machine.  The team changed the engine to Judd this season and did a major revamping to the Lola Chassis.  But, lack of testing and preparation resulted in trouble, and had to sit-out with only two laps in the second practice session trying to fix the problem.  They managed to finish 10th in the LMP2 class, and 22nd overall with a time of 1’56.938 in the first practice session.
