Hideki Noda finishes 8th despite troubles

Troubles led to long pitstops

The opening round of the 2010 Le Mans Series was held hat Paul Ricard Circuit in France from April 9th to the 12th.

Hideki Noda, in his third year at the Le Mans Series made an entry to this race from Kruse Schiller Motorsport (KSM). This is also Hideki’s 3rd year with KSM. The team’s machine has been updated since last year. A new engine with Judd and several updates on the Lola Chassis, good results were highly expected.

However, the new transmission caused trouble for the team from practice sessions, and this trouble forced the team to a long pit during the race. Even with this trouble, the team and Hideki managed to finish 8th in the LMP2 class, and added 12 points to the Championship Standings. The team also came in 5th in the newly established, Michelin Green X Challenge, competing the fuel consumption during the race.
